Reading the thread of the datsun cherry B) got me thinking what were other people's first car?

Here's mine: Mini 1000 cabriolet chop, cream interior, ported head (DIY) LCB manifold zorst 1 box, electronic ignition, modded carb, K&N loadsa chrome it was cool! Well fast and v loud for a 1000!

A Robin Hood 2B kit car - 1.6 Sierra pinto engine with some nice carbs. I built it with my dad because ironically it seemed the cheapest way to get insured on a nice car. Took us pretty much a year to build, but worth it in the end :)

And I absolutely loved it. 55bhp, but was really light and a proper giant killer. Top car.

Oh, and like the VX loads of people didnt get it at all.

Renault 5 Campus bought from my parents :o

The bar stewards forgot to tell me that it had a leaky heater matrix that cost almost as much to fix as the car did to buy :angry: :9mm:

Fortunately, I have no pictures of it :lol:

Lots of fiestas :rolleyes: I had a MK2 1.1 no mods either :lol: . Infact i still have it in the garage. I bought it on english plates E reg i think it was. My parents have an address out in france, for tax insurance etc resons i exported it :D hence right hand drive, French plates. Downside is it had to spend at least 4 months of the year in France. So i had to have long holidays out there :rolleyes: :D . /runs to get camera god that exhaust looks B) :lol: I loved it when i was 17, still do actually, occational take it for a little drive thumbsup

No picture as it was so crap I didnot want to take any pictures. :9mm: I had a baby sh*t yellow 1.2 mark 1 Astra with 149,000 on the clock. :(

My first car was a red 2 Liter Renault Fuego with cream interieur. Don't have any pictures; sorry. It was crashed by a large truck on the highway :(.

1977 (x-reg) Ford Fiesta 1.0L in Metallic Sky Blue. No pics at the moment, it's now just body shell being rebuilt by my mate with a zetec engine and various other improvements. Still planing to maintain the original colour.

Unfortunately Metro 1.3 Automatic The shame :unsure: Oh and 3rd gear didn;t work :lol: had to either let is stutter to fourth or use stick and rev 2nd then jump to drive :blink: What a car :lol: :lol:

No photies, but it was a Green Mini 1275GT. Body work fell apart after hitting a flood at about 65 - It skipped just like the Lambo across the river at the start of Cannonball Fever film. So I bought a bell nose mini and made 1 car out of 2. Great fun!

Talbot Sunbeam 1.3 LS. Bought and moved on a long time before I could drive. Made enough money on it to buy my notchback.
