In a world of seemingly endlessly bad vauxhall dealers I feel compelled to let you all know how good Bayliss really are. It all started a couple of months ago when my engine mounts started to fail, having bought the car from the Cirencester branch of Bayliss I gave them a call. Even though it was just for warranty work they were very effecient and happy to book it in at my earliest convenience. As the VX is not my everyday car I arranged to drop it off with them for a week (sat through to sat). Unfortunately though due to a lack of communications on both sides I didn't realise that the service section was closed Sat afternoon, so I turned up at 14:00 and was told by the sales guys that I would not be able to leave the car as the service section was all closed. So a wasted trip from Bristol to Cheltenham and back. I was obviously a little frustrated and expressed such to Bayliss. Half hour or so later I got a call from Ashley (Service manager I believe) who was very apologetic and bent over backwards to assist in anyway he could. They even offered to come and pick up the VX from me in Bristol. I was amazed to be honest as it wasn't even a service and I wouldn't even be parting with any cash! So anyway they picked the VX up and took it away for all the work. I was constantly kepted informed of progress by James in Service (very helpful guy!). All sorted and ready to pick up for the Chase, on picking up the VX James pointed out various other minor problems that they wanted to look at and resolve under warranty (inc timing chain, seat runners, brake servo hose, seals, minor oil leak)! thumbsup There were also a few minor issues that weren't covered under the Warranty but they agreed to cover the cost as I bought the vehicle from them originally. So a massive chinky chinky to Bayliss for the excellent service they have provided and I will most definately be getting all my service etc done with them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

/ding Baylis are excellent. There bodyshop guys are also very helpful - mine went there for the insurance work, and it's back in for them to sort out a couple of problems (They rushed it for me so it would be ready for the Riviera Trip). Paul - the VX guru there - is simply amazing. Does everything on the car as if it were his own. Much better place now 2Good has left as well ;) (lol)
