Had my stage1 done today by TMS
Have already noticed the car has a lot better throttle response thru midrange now and pulls with vigour to the new 6800rpm limit should I need it , think it will come in handy at Hock next year
Also had my new header tank fitted as a precaution, 10 min job by one of Thorney's mechanics, would of liked the car up on ramp just to have a check of engine mounts etc but there was already 3 VX's on ramps
Thanks for the cuppa mate will see you at Brunters in October
John
Thanks John

Yep, would especially like to thank John for staying late (hope you havent got into too much trouble!)
Guessing mine was one of the cars on the ramp.
I'm already loving the milltek, esp through the tunnel under hangar lane
Car has a lot more go in it and it certainly feels less 'jumpy' on the throttle, much smoother.
Also, no more flat spots !!!
If my tyre doesn't stay up I'm looking at new rears, may also be wanting to upgrade the brakes (as John suggested) as I'm really noticing how bad the standard ones are!!!
All in all a very happy bunny Its how the car should be.
PS: Good luck with the interview!

Sorry it was all a bit rushed.....what with people getting the wrong day booked it was a bit busy - 3 VXT stage 2's and 1 VX NA stage 1 in one day. Not how I'd like to do it but I people wanted to book when the offer was active (which it now isn't by the way)
Glad to hear you're both pleased, important to get it right form our perspective. The maps aren't written for pure power but for smoothness and to keep heat down to preserve the engine (we had another car in for a service where the manifold was cooked cos the car had a high power map but with no extra cooling - £1000 bill to repair it (It wasn't us I hasten to add)
