Left my VX at Plans on Monday night for a full Geo setup, including corner weighting and bump steer, that is after sitting down with John and discussing the main uses for the car. i.e. shopping car poof or track machine :tt: , or as John put it on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being pure track machine. I opted for 8 :tt: , leaning towards track. Borrowed the Smart Car for the evening  ….now that’s an experience everybody should do now and again, nevertheless, it was kind of them to lend it out and it is better than walking. Went back Tuesday night to collect the VX, John explained what they had done, at this point all I want to do is go play, but when I got the bill it was much lower than expected :o ……huh?, well the bump steer didn’t need doing so we didn’t do it, now how many companies would do that nowadays. So here I am with my car all setup, a cheaper bill and ready to roll, when John says to Graham, you should maybe give it a test yourself (John and Graham) run the show. So Graham, complete with khaki shorts and moccasins heads off to my car to give it a blast round the top gear circuit, with me in hot pursuit for a hot px ride . Well as it turns out that Graham is a pro racing driver :o ( for those of you that don’t know)…………….fcuk me my car can move (in the right hands), it was bloody great to “do” the top gear circuit as you visualise all the bends on the track from the TV footage………so impressed Imnotworthy Imnotworthy . Graham said after, that its well setup (Plans Imnotworthy ) and the Courtenays stg 3 Imnotworthy has a nice smooth delivery not overly aggressive like some, and the Nitrons (JT Imnotworthy ) were a great combination, however he did say the inside back wheel on corners was slipping under pressure, so he suggested a LSD and defo sticky tyres.........oh dear, more money So I’m one very happy bunny, my drive back was hampered by speed limits and Sunday drivers, but it does really feel better for it, roll on Bedford on Monday when I can test it for myself..…great car……’ish driver  One other thing that came out of Plans, that I didn’t know, Graham will give one-on-one training (theory and practice) on the circuit (for a price of course), with you being the only car on the track………....next time I’m down, I’m definitely doing it If you need work being done, these guys are Pro’s and care thumbsup , and they even cleaned the car afterwards....….great guys and highly reccommended chinky chinky Bob

Mick Clicks from full stiff poof front 10 , back 12, and they suggest half it for dry track days, but thats for the fast turbo's :D , those light slower na's :P might need it slightly stiffer at the back  As for ride high they thought it fine and made no changes :D , good 'cos' I like it that low chinky chinky Bob

Ditto - excellent service, very professional and they know their VXs. Had a complete rebuild of suspension, anti-roll bar, discs, pads, wheels and yokos and the whole package feels great. Will know better after track day on Wednesday at Outlon. Linked to Courtney CS3 the car flies and feels as if stuck to road. thumbsup
