I have a VX knee rest made by Frogman and Tadpole, doesn't look quite so :gayfight:

Reminds me, I need to order a passenger-side one from them...

Looks spot on!

....but elanor! Its a bit  :gayfight:

I know, I just can't really get rid of it, as it's embroidered in there, I'd have to have the dash rail covered again, and I doubt I'd match the colour.

I can only assume it's following on from Gone in 60 seconds? Bit lame, but hey......

Edit: I have a strange feeling that this one done at the dealer, as the car's first owner was a Vx dealer. The 2nd owner only had it for about 6months, before his misses forgot to take the pill.

Is the central console in the VX aluminum? I need to go tap on mine and see, but I was under the impression it's plastic. Dash panel is painted plastic as well, but everything else is anodized aluminum and I wouldn't have it any other way. I agree that the sides of the tub can be a bit painful in hard cornering for those of us who are less corpulent, but I agree that the wipeable plastic is a good thing and wouldn't want leather. I am not particularly careful with my boots getting in and out.

I think the interior is pretty good on the VXT, by the way, is the leather covered gear surround part of the touring pack?

Pretty sure it's standard on the turbo...NA gets an aluminium one that scratches to buggery :(

Touring pack is the door sill storage pockets, the luggage net behind the seats and extra soundproofing IIRC.

A

I have the touring pack then thumbsup

Leather gear surround on turbo is standard
Sill storage pockets are standard (though you can have leather as an option)
Luggage net is an option
Touring pack is an option and consists of black carpet covering all the alu tub and extra hidden soundproofing.

If you had a nice / good dealer, you could get Turbo style leather on the gear shift / handbrake shroud on later NA's..........................

You can see the ali tub to the right of your side pockets. That and the rest of the tub would be covered in black carpet if it had the touring pack. Touring pack is an option for the Turbo not the NA but I'm sure it could be retro fitted (the carpet bit anyway)

go for the carbon interior. mines got the centre gear section, door cards, and dash plate, looks good with the aluminium and in sun light the weave gives a good effect.
