last week i decided it was time to remove my dump valve
so instead of bodging the pipe i decided to order the VXT Samco hose kit.
shopped around and Regal had them in the sale for £150 + Shipping
so i ordered it (in blue)
it arrived this morning, in black (oh well no big deal)
minus the breather pipe to the rocker cover and with a dump valve fitting on it
well done regal for well and truly fcuking my order up!
needless to say i should have listened to all the complaints about regal, paid the extra £30 and ordered from Courtenay
Muppets IME, pity you had to find out the hard way.

I'd very much doubt its the dump valve, I think all of them have flat spots on the factory map. Mine certainly does. the only time any perfromance drop off should be noticeable from the dump valve is after you take you foot off the throtle and put it back on agian...The noise is great, always puts a smile on my face
but.....
do a search on the forum and you will see, everybody recommends taking them off
and im sure its the reason i have flatspots
so off its coming

No such luck, they've been round for years - but the bulk of their business is selling superchips to chavalier drivers, not catering for people who actually know what they're on about.I called them the otherday, the bloke said I will get some bird to call you back, did she?, nope nothing, so I am going somewhere else
Bye bye regal, no doubt they will go bust running a show like that
Courtenay will do you proud!
..on a side note I'm sure your flatspots aren't DV related, stock map is pretty lousy - mine was the same.
What does the kit replace the DV with? You can't just ditch it, needs to be something there.
