Just wanted to make a posting to say thanks to Graham and the guys at Plans who managed to fit me in for an emergency brake pad replacement! Great service and much appreciated thumbsup Great guys, looking forward to getting the Geo - setup done on saturday!

Cheers Iceman, sorry missed your posting there! Yep gone for the Mintex 1144's, a massive improvement on the old ones. Particularly the old ones with no pad left! They said they were pretty bad, let me keep one as a souvenier. Will fish it out later and post a piccy!

;) no problem mate (easy to miss posts on/in a busy forum) Mintex 1144's are what i'm going to go for when they need replacing, though i'm not doing much driving atm and what i do! do, is very restrained (trying to protect my license still) :rolleyes: ;) photo's should be interresting, specially the fronts :D thumbsup

By the end the rears were pretty bad aswell! Obviously extra wear on them with all the handbraking!

:o ouch :blink: looks like you did the right thing coming home when you did ;) ..were the discs ok in the end (suppose they were, cuz you'd have mentioned it if they weren't) :)

Yep disks were just about ok, was thinking about uprating them when I was at plans, might as well spend the £700 odd quid it could have cost me in Switzerland! Will ask Graham on Sat when getting the geo setup done!
