has anyone been to mackays in dingwall? (thats north of inverness for all the southerners out there) my car has been in and out of that place for a year now and im far from impressed.

Is it not a tiny garage ? (was born in Dingwall BTW) .....I thought the Inverness one was the only VX authorised one in the area ? You only other choices are Stirling, Aberdeen, Dumbarton or Glasgow / Edinburgh. None of which are exactly on your doorstep. You should PM Toski as he hails from Inverness and I think he's used the local dealer.

It was recommended to me by my insurance company as it was one of only two authorised repairers in scotland (p*ss i know) they are now having their third go at painting the car as we speak

Mine is going to Stirling for its warranty work - Mr Vaux warranty man said they were the only VX authorised bodyshop in Scotland !?!?! Although i'm sure Lee's car went somewhere in Perth.

Aye my car went to JM Accident Repair in Perth. They are owned by John Martin Group who also own Belmont Vauxhall and Murray Motor Company (Lotus etc.).

I was/am/kinda/sorta based in Inverness but always took the car to Autovision in the Ness. The dingwall branch is more expensive but I always seem to get an impression of a better service. The inverness lot are asses at times. You must have just arrived in the area as I have never seen a silver (or any other) VX in the area! Hello Sadly I have kinda/sorta/almost moved away so sadly I cant even say hello

I was told by tescos insurance that there were only two vx crash repairers in scotland, Dingwall and Glasgow I think generally vauxhall just dont have a clue and they tell everyone anything just to keep them happy for a while. I have been messed about soooo much at dingwall ...........but trading standards know all about it
