Yeah, I think it was, can't remember the post exactly.

I found it in search a little while ago when I didn't want new wheels. :beat:

I've emailed Plans also ... if anyone from this thread who missed out is after a set maybe we should club together to negotiate a better deal? Adam

The deal with i need nos required a set of mint na wheels with good tyres + £400 cash.

I think the price on ebay was too much, it's supposed to be the place where you can 'pick up a bargain'. Hmmm

..it's an auction - just as many people overpay as those who get 'bargains'

I've seen at least 4 people (including me) who are still after VXR wheels ...group buy from plans?

That's hardly what I'd call a bargain!

No but it's a reasonable deal if you don't want to shell out the full £1100 for wheels and tyres and have a set of na wheels to trip over afterwards.

If you know your market why would you overpay at an auction?

Nail on the head ... a lot of Ebay users don't know or care about the market - they see and they want, and bid to make sure they get it.

So are you going to join a VXR wheel group buy or what? :P

exactly....

looks to me that he/she has effectively paid out £300 for three well worn yokos, even if you accept that they have paid cost price for a second hand set of wheels  ...

each to their own and all that thumbsup
