Extremly nice.
But how do you attach the alu to the firewall?

Via the old air box mounting bolts. :)

Despite the fact that I'm still blushing from realising that the answer to my last question was on page 7 I have another one. I have noticed that all of you more experienced S/C-ing people are mounting the ECU to the left of the holes. Do the cables really reach that far without extending them? If so, how far do you have to open up the wrapping? I have so far unwrapped to the first big joint to the left of the engine and it seems a litle short to me. My idea was to mount the ECU to the right of the holes. Will there be some conflict with the S/C or anything else there?

Am I right in thinking you extended the loom that leads to the ECU JG? Did you solder all the extension wires etc presumably and roughly how many are there, 5 or 10 or more? The reason I ask is that Im considering moving my ECU (on a VXT) and was rather nervous about fiddling with it.

Air box cone thing needed a proper mounting so I made one, which uses the original airbox mounting point. It was a bit of a nightmare of complicated angles but after a few templates it resulted in this:

The holes are 80mm for a 76mm external intake pipe with 1.5 rubber insert. They are a very tight fit. I can make you one any size you want.

bracket is purposely slightly flexible (its not a rigid mount, but also you have half a meter of flexible between the moving bit of the engine and the mount
