I did my rear grille a while back. Didn't think it was that bad. The heatshield is now bonded back on

Awesome job. Home made is far better due to the care you put into your own work.

Looks fantastic  It's all in the attention to detail that really sets it apart :) Made my mind up as well definatly going to do my bells in aluminium and not satin black, they look so much better! thumbsup

thanks chaps.

All it took was 4 cans of de-icer (for their caps). 62mm diameterblack caps,

Caps cut down to 25mm in height.

a set of these in 52mm diameter.
http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1497.l2649

some 3mm wide gaffa tape to increase the diameter of the caps slightly, followed by 3mm wide double sided take. The fit is probably slightly too good, in that they were quite hard to get in. They certainly won't be falling out.

Couldn't decide upon orientation so went for a diagonal where the line in the cap points to the Os in OZ on the wheel. Decided that made it look like a Z.

Well spotted Jules_s It is rather shameful, a complete lack of attention to detail.

They do, thats the whole point. They go from the Os of each of the circular stickers, to make a Z. Because nothing else looked quite right.

So far I have shed nearly 3 stone so should be a little quicker. Shedding that has saved me money unlike spending a fortune on an SC conversion and adding weight :P

Lovely car... but are those locking wheel nuts on those OZ's? Chiseling them off won't do those wheels much good.
