The bottom ball joint rubbers have split, so the ball joints themselves are not long for this world. Nitrons still very clean though a new set of springs would be nice. I bet the rates haven't changed though. Likely our cars made a few more hp due to you still having the decompression plate. Probably nicer for longevity though. Be great to see your car back on the road. Why don't you join us at least Mans or Anglesey this year?

Car looks great JG, I do think that you'd grow to love some tubby ears though!

Just think of it this way the turbo ears look good and also putting more air into your engine to keep it cool so there doing a job.

At least I have decided to keep the VX now.
Yes I think a suspension refresh is going to have to be the next thing on the list, didn't notice the rubbers had split.
I will make a point of getting out on a few meets or even trackdays as soon as she is all back together.
I do like to go round Europe on the bike every year or so though, would love to do that in the VX, but can just imagine how frustrating it must be though. normally have to pass the odd bus or car whilst hacking up and down the passes, not so easy in a car.

Gotta love Europe. :wub:

today i drilled my clams with 9 holes :o Turbo spoiler and splitters fitted. I never thought i'd succumb. Looks good though ;) Spent nearly as long as removing Jules' clam as did lining it up, measuring, measuring again. :lol:

yeah, and i'm only about 5 years behind everyone else. in 2017, i'll be thinking GT4 spoiler or ATCDTCDTCs (or whatever they are called :P)
