Buy a fuel can, don't tell anyone you're 'storing' 25litres for a few hours then pour it in :D

drop the tank out full, fit the new tank empty and then fill it up from the old tank

I've never seen anything more of mine than the neck for the pump. Lovely. :) When it comes to removing your old one, be very careful of the outlets from the pump housing. They're very fragile and easily broken, as I found out to my cost.

Tank virtually empty after playing around here for a couple of hours this morning.

Car feels terrific. Brakes have really bedded in nicely now. i had moment's panic when there was an engine hesitation, then noticed i'd left the Scanguauge plugged in (it used to do it before SCing too). Removing that fixed it.

Looks great JG. I loved my yellow one but if I ever got another it'd definitely be a black one (or possibly petrol blue). I also like moonland but they aren't so SCable! STUNNING!
