When I first passed my test there was a guy from my old school that hit a kid breaking both his legs. He sued the kids parents for the leg shaped dents in the bonnet of his mini. My opinion of him cannot be broadcast on open forum.

Why? You would do the same. If someone pulled out in front of you in their car at fault, you would still claim against them, regardless of whether they were injured or not. At the scene, you would completely ignore fault or blame and try to help who ever needed it most. In slower time though you would look to have the matter settled. I have no information about the dog owner. But I would have sued them if I did, even though the dog died.

Did CRN 'dip' these for you? If so how are they holding up?

I have CRN plated discs and they look electroplated. They dont have the crystal appearance of dipped things. I believe they hold up well on the road but have been known to flake slightly at track temps. This obviously wont affect the braking surface as the soft zinc would be worn off almost instantly.

:yeahthat: The fronts have flaked a little from the track, and rears have discoloured slightly. On the whole they are holding up very well

I hit a dog but didnt sue. Police did ask me if I wanted to. Car was a 10 yr old Rover though that's worth less than a grand. Damage was a dented bumper, never bothered gettin it sorted. It blends in. -_- If it was the VX or golf I might have felt differently.

Looks like they've painted the badge surround, but left the centre of it silver?
