I've made a start :D

Rear clam was easy enough, now there is a lot of cleaning to do!

Front clam was off in about 30min :D

I should have done this when i refreshed the suspension, so much easier to access:

Its probably no suprise to anyone but i've finally realised that what i enjoy most about the vx, is having it in pieces  Especially if it means those pieces can be replaced, restored, or cleaned up and then put back :D I'm sure the supercharger will be nice enough, but fitting it is bloody excellent :D

Looking good James :) Were the wishbones powdercoated? I'm on my iPhone so can't be arsed to go back through to check. If so what is a decent price to do all 8? Thinking of getting mine done when the wishbones come off.

I think i was quoted around £10 a wishbone. May of been less. You need to make sure they mask it off properly to save you some work when re-fitting the bushes and ball joints

Its not quite big enough,

I only keep the things in there are are unique to the VX, like its jacks for example. and a bit of cleaning stuff.

the main tool and tyre store have to be else where:

How big did you make it..? I'm looking at 4m x 6m. Would that suffice...?
