pffft, c'mon guys lets get back on topic eh.....
So is that 2x4 timber you've used for the garage and 4x4 posts...? Seriously I want to knowGot my designing head on now
Thats right Jimmy

DIY is by far the cheapest way to do it, i enquired quite a bit before going ahead, and prices for that size ranged from 1500, for a crappy shed, which would have blown away by now to 5k plus.
This one cost me around 800quid including the concrete slab which is over 25cm deep (it was the end of a lorry and i had to take the lot

If you want a hand, I'll gladly come and help, I've also got some power tools which are good fun, the circular saw is a particular favourite.

What do you do for a living?
I manage programmes (£10M+), in IT/Security and studied Mech engineering once upon a time.

as a matter of interest what sort of planning did you get for building that? not that i can build one now
i was planning a large shed/garage for the bottom of my garden, did you have any access issues?
I contacted the council's planning department, we exchanged a few emails. When they realised the size and the construction materials, they we not interested.
It is accessed from the drive through a carport so there were no access issues.
