Porsches though especially 911s of the age you would need have pretty scary running costs
the toyota engine is very reliable.

Off the top of my head: VX220 S/C: KG=880... BHP=260... Power/Weight=295 BHP/Ton Evora N/A: KG=1437... BHP=276... Power/Weight=192 BHP/Ton Looks to me like the Evora is a considerable downgrade in terms of performance, though clearly a lot quieter and more refined. I think you'll miss the outright flingability of the VX, not to mention the fact it will barely depreciate and costs peanuts to run etc.
Anyway, if you decide to sell someone will be getting an amazing car, I'm half tempted to go halves with Slindborg and buy it, just so we can post up pics of it looking filthy!
Edit: Just looked the weight up again online and another site is saying the Evora weight 1270 Kg, so maybe my numbers are wrong.

indeed, but 1400kg is going to dent any track performance
suspect the evrora is plenty fun on track though,

I'd of been quicker if I had a 4 Chanel ABS.I'd agree with that having seen you pedal around Snetterton in an NA!

Actually thats one of the best arguments for trying to keep the vx and have an evora along side
However, more chance of bending it on the road, than on the track. especially as it would be on the road more since its that much more usable.

Yep, the S starts at around 6-8k more than the Non S. I'd much rather keep the VX than give the Evora another 70hp which is doesn't really need.

Yup,
I'm going to give up my company car and take the cash.
Then buy a sensible car with 70-80k miles on it and a toy.
