My view is that the fundamental change in design means that the first version while brilliant has had to be redesigned to improve reliability. So i wouldn't sell it on to anyone.

Well, idealised-tom would like to have a play with it before committing to a full CF setup.
But actual-tom has a VX with no engine and mould growing in the cabin.

hah, honestly, it'll never get used. I haven't even sprayed the mould on the steering wheel with dettol

Mint, I'll have it then. I know a good machine shop/welders and would be interested in playing around with an adjustable ARB before stumping up for the full monty. PM coming your way James

More than a year since an update! Basically i've just been driving it (well a little bit) with regular services and lots of track days. twice to spa last year, snett and one other. I know i used up all the CCI slots.
But since about three track days ago, i've had an annoying exhaust vibration, and its getting worse. I've long suspected the cat, but who knows. Haven taken it all off, its not obvious.
I'm not sure how much of this will make it back onto the car
But I think i may have set a new record. It took me 17min to get to the cat out, once the car was jacked up. Not a single rusty bolt, the lambdas were instant and so on.
However the cat/ubend bracket has disintegrated. I can't even take a picture.

And so, the dilemma of what to replace it with comes to mind. New Tullet from manifold back? with a silencer cat? standard turbo bb, coupled to what I have? HKS cat rather than the one i have.
I just don't know.

Get Dave H to do one for you. 3 inch he did for me is comparable in noise levels to my previous NA Milltek.
