Do I get it?

2 reasons. Firstly does it make the car too noisy on motorways?

Main reason, UK tracks are getting more and more anal on noise limits. I got kicked off two in the Caterham (105db's) and I hear Rockingham etc is lowering theirs to 89 db's. Does the Vauxhall sports exhaust and/or the Regal one kick out more than that?

Thorney - correct me if I'm wrong but you are after a turbo right? IMO I'd be surprised if the turbo would take exactly the same sports exhaust system and even more so if it sounded at all like the NA version. Turbo's tend to suppress the exhaust note more.

The thing that makes my sports exhaust (standard Vauxhall one) stand out from other sports cars I've heard, including the Griffith 500 I used to own, is the amount of back popping on the over run. Truly awsome on down changes.
