This is one for true petrolheads, I don't know about you but I love a good car quiz! Just post an image with a car which requires some motoring education skills to identify, first to identify wins and someone can post a new one. Endless hours of ongoing fun :D If it's not popular it will sink rapidly in the forum so... To start things up, what's this? :D

That one's an Argyle IIRC ... so probably from Argyleshire. Built by the Minnow Fish carburettor people if I'm right about what it is and I seem to recall it handled well but looked decidedly ill ...

It's an Argyll Turbo. Was either built or was to be built at Lochgilphead. Chassis was a space framed abortion in st. st. and the engine was the standard Rover V8 fare. There was also talk of a Saab unit. It was the usual mish mash of components taken off the shelf. IIRC the suspension was Triumph 2500. It was both hideous and very, very heavy. TT's offering is the Panther Solo which was one of the most tragic missed opportunities for a long time.
