Pomeroy's dashboard belongs to a Facel Vega. French coachbuilding and Chrysler mechanicals IIRC.

This one – anyone know it?

It's a Turner?

thumbsup

Pomeroy – I'm not sure about the engine. There is a dedicated Turner website though with amzing amounts of detail about the various cars.

I can see that there are a couple of people on here who are as petrolheaded as me :D – if not more (though I'm not sure that that is possible! :P

And this interesting car is...?

Yamaha OX-99 from the early 90s. Single seater using the Yamaha V12 F1 engine (detuned)

Edit: actually it was a 1+1 seater.

You've got me there. looks like a cross between a Lotus Elite and an Alfa, so I would say early sixties, probably British and probably with a fibreglass body on a steel chassis – but that is just wild speculation

Hee's an easier one while we're biting our teeth out on the above.

The onlookers appear to be thinking, "What was the designer of this one on?!" :D

I think the red and black thing's a Moretti 750 in which case Karl Ludvigsen was recently selling his for some outrageous sum. The Marcos Mantis bankrupted Jem Marsh [for the first time ;) ]

Yep. You're right. I found it the Moretti750 Sport Coupé. Built in 1954 Imnotworthy Impressive styling for then. :poke: You should have left such an easy one as the Mantis for the others, or no-one else will play! :D

Something a little more modern and certainly more competently styled than that Marcos. But what is it? :D Forgot the pic!

You're a god :o Even if I find a picture of a car built out of korn flakes by a drunk eskimo, kept on a igloo for 35 years and only known of by a retired CIA agent... you would still casually say "oh! that's a Iluak Sura GTI!"

My father as got a Moretti 125 GS tucked away (body just like a Fiat Dino Spyder but coupé). Do you think it'0s worth a bundle to? :D
