Anyone else done this yet or got the template? Got some component speakers I want to fit and that position looks ideal, just got to think where to put the tweeters.

I'm currently installing speakers front and rear.

i've mounted my tweeters on top of the dash either end but the A pillar.

I'd get some pics up in the morning :D

possible suggestion for the speakers would be to look at alpine and the KFC range or anything else with a Neodymium magnet, much smaller than normal magnets, but still give a good thump without sounding too peaky or rough.

lightweight idea should suit VX ideally really.

I did it too on my LHD speedster, but I put the driver side speaker higher than possible with a special wood bracket to avoid any foot disconfort (In sport condition for example)

Hi peeps, sorry, having massive computer issues at the moment. its driving me nuts :9mm: . How ever much i hit it it just doesnt seem to get better :) . I have the templates drawn out, as in i have drawn round the wood cut outs on a bit of A4 paper. I now have a scanner so as soon as i get my new computer i will post them up. Sorry for being totally useless :sleepy: The speakers work great and i never catch my feet on them. If you were putting seperates in there i would always mount the tweeter as close to the mid as you can. On the dash is just wrong  , unless the mid is in the dash too. Cheers, i love my exhaust :D :D :D
