The long and short of it is: the more toes the better.

I wasn't born in Norfolk so I guess I'll have to put up with a lack of traction

Yeah - you suggesting Andy mod by grafting on some additional toes?? Surely that would require in turn modification to the chassis which might offset any gains (though I admit greater surface area at the front would lower centre of gravity and increase the amount of tread on the road surface... ). I mean, if he ends up walking around in Clown Shoes this is likely to hugely upset his geo :D JJ

My geo is how it left the factory and I have no Plans to get it changed as it's worked fine all these years, best leave alone if it's OK and ignore the masses saying how it must be wrong and you need to spend money getting it put right

No, we tried that and in extensive testing we discovered we'd missed the point by at least a foot.

well, this thread is great, reminds me of the pasty thread! were you left foot braking as you turned the corner? i find the 'heel-toe brake then turn' system works best for me when negotiating tricky corners, plus my grippy Soulmaster GripMax's help keep me surefooted in the winter time thumbsup

As stated, my technique is sound.. I've had years of experience in much worse conditions and always coped. This can not be about my own inabilities, it must be down to defective goods

Definately sounds like the shoe is to blame, I would take it back to the dealer and complain but dont put up with any of that TADT nonsence they always talk about.

Are the converse allstars a viable alternative? They look a little too flexible around the sides but the contact patch is quite large.
