Closer - Guff! (No I'm sorry I can't leave it at that, what a phucking p*ss poor film of titamic proportions. Making films from plays rarely works well and this left me laughing at most of the dialogue when I shouldn't have been. I couldn't wait for the end.)

No way dude, not even my favourite child-actor-got-all-grown-up, Christina Ricci, could've saved that movie.

It sucked big time.

Assault on Precinct 13 - Uninvolving

This refers to the 2005 version, not John Carpenter's original. It's plight wasn't helped by the sh*t DVD copy I watched of it which actually had the 1976 cover on it! I was wondering why there were no cops with afros in the movie I was watching :( The leads just seemed to be going through the motions, happy to pick up another paycheck :(

edit: to change the review word... i had unmoving, but you wouldn't watch a movie like that expecting to be moved!

Thanks dude, that's saved me from a boring 2hrs. I was going to watch it to see what all the critical fuss was about.

My dad said The Assination of Richard Nixon was crap, which disappointed me, not sure whether to watch or not...
