but it's all based on boundaries - targets and what people want - nothing is based on the artist and his or hers vision. fcuk cunningham, fcuk the fonz. fcuk hollywood. can't imagine that the movie would be anything like the real truth behind the real story, which begs the question why would we need it to have based on truth in the first palce? it's another fcuking trick. truth rewritten - hollywood style. lol.

Jesus Paul, let loose man

Well, Raging Bull and Million Dollar Baby it wasn't, but I bet £5 it'll blag a gong or three come the Oscars. Fight scenes were cool and Crowe is solid throughout. I had a problem with Renee Zellweger as the leading lady, could've used someone a bit less glamorous.

The sporting history certainly checks out and the Braddock story is a famous one http://www.amazon.co...115268?v=glance

Worth a watch IMO despite Paul's concerns of Holywoodedness :P

That's the one thumbsup

Another funny, quite charming film that, imo, would have been utter sh*t if it had been made in the States

Still think of Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources everytime I see Daniel Auteuil too Imnotworthy

Thought William Hurts cameo at the end was hilarious :P film in general was a bit disappointing except for the kinky cheerleader sex scene, now why doesn't my missus do that

Hostage So So
National Treasure Great
