no i haven't read any of his books? and i haven't seen any other related movie (well i may of seen the 1st ten minutes then turned it off quickly and burnt it) ;)

i do actually read a hell of a lot of books, and normally always read a book before i watch the film version of it, as they are usually a lot more in depth and better etc (but this wasn't the case with The Constant Gardner book, rubbish)

i didn't know there was a book version of the Capote film, maybe i'll have a look out for it and the one you mentioned above and see if i find it better!

The Worlds Fastest Indian - Wasted

Why do they do this? Why take a decent story and fcuk it up for the hell of it? If you are going to churn out yet another wanky, vomit inducing, tugging at the heart strings, innocent old man against a big bad world film with a sound track that is so sugary it would kill a diabetic then make your own story up. Don't take what is actually a pretty good tale and fcuk around with it for the benefit of emotionally stunted, slack jawed Americans but still dress it up with that wonderful phrase based on a true story. Based in the sense that there were some people. Or something like that.

I should have known after seeing Mr Hopkins in the travesty about Donald Campbell a while back.
