What about the added heat from the turbo will this be something to think about?

Bringing this thread back to life.... Please lets not get into the anti-regal debate :) Anybody know anybody with the Dbilas turbo kit installed? Chris from Regal reckons with rods and piston mods this kit is good for 300bhp......

I was looking at the american forcedfed turbo kit for the elise 111r, and i dont see why more people dont take the turbo route. With a low pressure turbo the standard compression seems to be ok and the results are fantastic.

Small point. Went into Regals website, they have advertised turbo 2.2 kit for £3,650 inc vat. However when i enquired i was told this price was incorrect and that correct price is £4,600. They said this was due to an additional part required for installation into the 2.2. Nothing wrong with that except that their internet advert quite clearly states that their price of £3,650 includes all that is required for installation. A little misleading then

its says £4200 on the site now. if they are selling the parts for DIY fitment then doesnt the ecu need remapping a fitment?

You could probably go to a VX service point or somewhere where's there's a Tech-2 and get the supplied software dumped onto your ECU.

Here's the quote I got
The Kit Price is £3950,you get a discount of £600 for the intake.
