I dont think they will be cheap though :( Its taken 4 weeks of man hours from the supplier and they aint cheap :9mm:


Let me have your sample, and i'll get them made up quicker than that!! and at the right price!

I know them up there.. they copied the SBD Type C High Torque BTB manifold (1 7/8) for the C20XE by making a jig up and using a slightly different size of tubeing (1 3/4).. they can do in S/S or mild steel.. mild steel sounds better i would say! I paid £350 for S/S a mild steel would have been £250.

Once a jig is made up its a simple job!

We're stuggling under the volume of work, our own TB car hasn't moved for last month :blink: We're booked up until end April now almost and seeing as development work doesn't pay it has to take a back seat. Trying to find the time to finish off the last little bits.

You are right, but if you dont do the r/d you cant sell the product can you :) anyway we await.

I saw the car, even pottled along side me for a while on the way back, didnt notice any funny sounds :blink: maybe only makes a racket under throttle?

Yep - only when 'giving it some' that it really started to roar :jump: I think the rev-limit had been set to over 8k too :o

I thought that these motors went bang at around 8300....

Trail and error for me showed 8157rpm before the crank snapped :D

We'll put customer car rev limits at 7500 I think, I'm running our car as a daily driver at the moment and its nigh on perfect I feel. We have the first customer car fitted at the moment so we'll be releasing it all next week.
