Must be just coincidence that talk of superchargers once again prompts a response on TBs

Wow...thats some conspiracy theroy you've got there Paul. I posted in reply to another post  We took the car to L2B, didn't ram it down anyones throats just quietly let anyone interested see it thats all - I suppose you can read other conspiracy theories into that too?

We'll put customer car rev limits at 7500 I think, I'm running our car as a daily driver at the moment and its nigh on perfect I feel.

7500rpm on a long stroke engine like the Z22SE without changing the rods to steel ones and the pistons to forged? Brave man! Imnotworthy

Just curious.. At what rpm does the torque and HP peak at the moment with this setup? (not interested in the torque or HP numbers, just where in the rpm range they peak)

Aka. is it really useful to rev it that high or would a more conservative 7000 to 7200 rpm limit already allow it to reach it's peak HP?

Bye, Arno.

Arno, we're still testing final things such as rev limits, and as I've said before we'll only release all the final details when its released for use. I'm just being conservative thats all.

I second that, but if i followed the story... the car uses Schrick cams, and because i know a little bit these cams (we simulate our future engine with them), i know they are profiled for high RPMs so it might be the reason why.... ;)

Schrick cams, double valve springs so higher rpm's are doable. Remember this is our development car, if it goes pop then thats how we learn, customer cars will be mapped to a level we're happy with the longevity. We already have higher compression heads, different rods, pistons all ready to go in just waiting for the workshop time to get them in.

Not touchy at all, you made a veiled accusation that I 'time' posts about the TB kit when superchargers are discussed and I pointed out that wasn't the case thats all. Perhaps its you who is touchy about it all? :P

Chris is the first customer car we've done so I've asked him to have the car and have a play to see what he thinks. I have a load of data and pictures that I'll put up as soon as Chris reports back he's happy with the conversion, I'm not going to hurry him on this.
