Chris is the first customer car we've done so I've asked him to have the car and have a play to see what he thinks. I have a load of data and pictures that I'll put up as soon as Chris reports back he's happy with the conversion, I'm not going to hurry him on this.

Absolutely, it's early days and John will know the right time to release the right details.

In the mean time like I said anyone's welcome to see it / hear it at a meet (I'm in west London)

Chris

see it , hear it, is that the point of the TB kit then ? I thought it was for a SUBSTANTIAL performance increase.

Yup, there's that too of course, but I'll be the only driver for a while I'm afraid :)

How are you finding it Crispy? Does it provide what you were hoping for whether that be sound, performance or general enjoyment of the car?

Can I ask one thing.......there are obviously a few members here who clearly just don't like me (for whatever reasons, some perfectly reasonable, some less so) but if they want to have a go at me then fair enough, but please don't attack a third party just because they have deiced to have their car tuned by us, thats not fair.

One or two might like to take a pop at you - there's always some! There are hundreds more of us who appreciate your work , the care you take, and the attention to detail.

Not wishing to have a dig here....but this thread has just got plain weird.

We all realise the TB's have taken a lot of time to develop. I gather this was hindered/lengthened by the development of the (now discarded) TB's for the race cars.

I don't have a problem with that (if thats the case...im patient anyway)

However, surely if they were completed for the race cars, and now fitted to customer car(s) the development must be complete? and some stats issued?

Ive seen the car, as have a few others.. and it was very impressive... good power gains (what i would have expected if compareing to my other car which runs TB's on a C20XE) very smooth graphs, with a very nice soundtrack.. thumbsup I'll be interested to see, long term how Crispy gets on with it thumbsup Im sure it will be all good..

Cheers

Jules, you're right, its finished and I've signed off on it. However I'm a conservative person and although I've been using our car as a daily runaround for some time I want to get an independant persons pov before I publish everything. Crispy has paid for his conversion as a normal customer so I want his thoughts before I make it public. I appreciate the time this has taken but it would be daft to now shout about it until I'm 110% confident.

You don't really get a very good impression from this clip but here's a quick video of the TMS development car at L2B.

Sounded better 'in the flesh' :)

There will be three versions offered, stage 1 is a full kit on a standard or Milltek'd car. Stage 2 adds on cams and head work and stage 3 cams and extra headwork. We're still umming and ahhing on price as installation is taking longer than we hoped but stage 1 will certainly be under (maybe only just) £3k fully fitted.

What kind of power does stage one bring though? That will be the deciding factor on the bhp/£ aspect.

Peak power gains for the stage 1 are about 25bhp. At peak gains we're seeing over 40bhp up
