I'm going to the Hawkstone International on the 2nd bud, wouldn't be fit enough for a 6hr anyway.

You should come on the 16th, could do with some decent pics and the course is meant to be really nice and fast. You can wear a skirt and hold a pit board for me if you like.

Yeah i'll also be at Hawky mate thumbsup I'll probably take you up on the skirt thing too, i've got nowt on that weekend - i'll have to shave my legs though ;) - I was thinking... if that track is nice and fast then your fecked from the start aren't you :gayfight: thumbsup

I'll phone you closer to the date [hawkstone] well meet up then.

There's another vid like that on the 'tube' somewhere, except the kid is doing a supercross and shoots across in the speccy stand - no one was hurt thank fook - but it's funny to watch. Worst crash i've witnessed is someone landing on a wooden stake after being taken out mid tabletop, it put me off riding 'staked tracks' for years, thankfully theres less tracks using them now and theres none used in enduro what so ever.. [which is nice!]

Not sure if this is allowed, but it is for a good cause, and this thread is full of bikers, so I'll risk it! ;)

Posting this for a mate of a MLOCer. If any kind souls do donate, please make sure you mention VX220.org.uk in the comments box.

30 bikers are doing a sponsored motorcycle ride to Lands End and back to raise money and awareness for the Help for Heroes charity.
Unfortunately they have been told the cannot collect donations at any stops on the way down so are now collecting anyway they can. If anybody can help out then all contributions , large or small, would be gratefull. His donation page is http://www.justgiving.com/s12ust

Many thanks all.

This is the information on the website..........

http://www.helpforhe....s_LtoZ.html#75

This is a motorbike ride from Stapleford, Nottinghamshire to Lands End, and back again.

The event will commence on Friday 17th April at 07.00hrs from Walter Parker VC Square in Stapleford Town Centre and after a blessing from our local Vicar.

The ride consists of approx 30 riders made up of civilians, ex-military and police.

We hope to arrive in Plymouth on the Friday evening where we will stay overnight. On Saturday morning we will ride to Lands End to have photo's taken and then head back once again stopping off to collect donations. We will arrive in Western-Supermare on the Saturday eveing where we wil stay overnight.

Sunday morning we will head back to Stapleford where we will for a procession through Stapleford headed by The Royal Hussars band, The Boy's/Girl's Brigade and the ATC. We will be met by the Mayor of Stapleford David Grindell at Walter Parker VC Square.

Fundraising Target: We aim to raise over £5000.00

Cheers,
Elaine. :)
