I think the zxr is a beautifull bike. My mate has got a mint ZX7R the one with twin squarish headlights and the massive ramair either side, lovely looking bike but weighs in at well over 200kgs > my RR has no probs with it.

Well the ZXR is in 89/90 colours so i would say that piccy was taken in 90/91.

Amanda Cagiva have a new fourstroke Mito on the way, probably be a 450cc and from what ive seen it wiil look like sex on legs.

Retail is around 3.5k on the road.

It won't be out till end of the year though

So would still go for a Hornet or Bandit, just to find your feet on and maybe an Aprillia RS 250 if you wanted somthing sportier lookin than the 400s.. they arent like two strokes of old [no self pre-mix] and hardly go pop

Tomorrow I’ll be mostly going to work on a Yamaha TEOs. To ashamed to find picture just think of the most Jamie Oliver scoot in blue. No I’ve not become to for a real bike. My Suzuki SV650s has died and the dealer has kindly lent me a scooter until they can fix it. (Thank God I have to wear a helmet)

My current bike is a pre crashed (I'll only do it sooner or later) 1996 CBR600 and I must say it's soooo easy to ride it'd be a good first bike. I think the 400's are mega fun, especially on most of the shite roads this country has to offer but id you want to go longer distances, go touring, go on track days and commute, you'd be hard pressed to beat a CBR600 and as a dedicated Suzookophile it really grates with me to say that

Sorry mate, but it's the 91/92 ZXR750 (I had an 89 ZXR750H1 before this one), I'm sure the piccie was taken in 92 but SamH has got me thinking . After this ZXR I had my first Blade in 93.

Be warned: Now I've got a scanner more pictures may follow!


Richiemouse, After getting hold of the CBR600 above, cheap (It was a trade in against a car) & being swayed by the ride quality - Mr Kawasaki & I'm certainly not buying a Blade cos every c**ts got one (all my mates anyway!), went out & bought his first Blade & first Honda since his 84 VF750F

And just one more day before its OTR

I had my plaster off friday but the stitches are still in .. getting them done wednesday evening.

I also went down to give the bike shop my insurance cover note, so they could tax my new ride ready for wednesday... went with my pops[coz i still can't drive ]... Looks like he will be having the new blade, had a feeling he would.

They had just had the 06 GSXR600 in... Mmmmm very nice.. and @ £6799 on the roads.. fecking awsome deal

It looks stunning, but the swinging arm looks huge though compared to the R6...they offered me the demo for a day when they finally get around to putting one out.

I'll bung a re-view up on here

Mmmm... New blade It's got to be the Silver one, didn't like it at the bike show couldn't get use to how much engine shows through the fairing cut outs (too make it slimmer) but now I've had a better look, I like it but will be hanging on to mine.



(Hoping that next years R1 looks as good as this years R6 )

AFAIK The tank,seat unit & frame are the same on this years blade as mine, it feels just right to me, I was never as comfy on my 01 GSXR1000. It's kind of small but not too small for an old boy to get cramp on

Nothing planned for Wales yet work wise, concentrating on M5/M6 at the mo. Giving Busters/M&P a bit of space.

Keep going with the list though,you never know!

Yep, he is a bit worried about it being un-comfy.. his RRW is like a big easy chair

But i think he's borrowing one this weekend... before making his mind up.
