Benw, that's the same place we are getting them from. They are telling me it's a promotion on until the end of March. I have no idea whether he is lying or not but i'll be happy to pay less than £599.99 as that's how much I have seen them for elsewhere.

Ah right, I see. No reason to doubt him but they really ought to make a bigger deal of it on their website. It just looks like the normal price when you read the page!

I've never seen them sold for less that £499 before so £465 was always going to be a good deal. I don't mean to take anything away from that......

I couldn't agree with you more. It wasn't until I spoke to the guy that I realised too!

Another good reason for another two people to add themselves to our list ;). You've got to be stupid to pass up a £135 saving! :D

Certainly intending to do mine myself as i'm tight. Looks like two simple bolts, one at the top and one at the bottom. Other than that I would guess it's a case of following the instructions and setting the correct ride heights and damping, something I was intending to do in my kitchen before going anywhere near my car.

I was planning to set the ride height to 120mm (floor pan to floor) and initially try 10 clicks front and 12 clicks rear. There are loads of differing views on settings though.

There was some discussion at the start of this thread but never a definate yes or no whether they could go in either way up.

Fitting them is fairly simple even for someone who lacks the mechanical gene such as myself. I will be taking mine to horizon for a geo set up to get the most out of them though.

I thought it was decided that they were universal in the way they could be fitted and it came down to your decision. Perhaps people could post their intentions / setup ideas here?

My intention is to mount them the right way up as nothing I've been told so far says you can't do this. I had my geo done by SS (even though unbeknown to me one of the previous owners had already had it done there). I think I'd quite like to have the whole lot set up by someone who knows what they are doing...Plans?

Just PM'd craglett about this and I have begged and pleaded with my contact to make this available to all of us but he won't/can't! :( Unfortunately my contact works for a massive tuning/racing company and is doing it as a friends+family type thing! :( Sorry guys- I'd love to have been able to help! Mounting them right way up not only adds to unsprung weight thumbsdown but leaves the seals open to damage from dirt etc! Upside down! thumbsup

Right way up/upside down, I'm mounting them whichever way leads to least unsprung weight, which is what I meant even if I didn't say it :P

Seem to remember that the fitting instructions supplied with mine specifically stated "do not mount in inverted position as per orig equip"

It was well over 2 years ago though so things may have changed
