Love the shots of the car, love the way it gives the impression that the car has just come sliding sideways into the shots thumbsup

As a matter of interest Paul, did you do those shots handheld or with the aid of a tripod? Perhaps I've just been on the gin too long but I can't seem to hold the camera steady enough, especially at 200mm, to get a sharp picture in anything but bright daytlight and 1/1000!

rarely use my tripod ben, too cumbersome - not that keen on monopods either. plant your elbows into your ribs, standing like a boxer too helps. you should be able to handhold at a speed down to your lenses focal length - so 1/250th on a 200mm without any worry of it being shaky. might be time to dry out the gin! :D

I'm interested in a meet and shoot session too, subject to location (i'm in west london). Red VXT and Canon EOS300D with the EOS EFS 18-55mm and Canon ultrasonic 75-300mm. Could be a good theme for a series of regional meets at great locations for car fun and photography especiallyt some of the more remote areas in Wales etc. I thought Brecon Beacons might be a good place - great views and drives. chinky chinky hethelred

i think it would be good to do 3 or 4 very different location styles over say a year... built-up, rural, industrial, desolate... maybe?

had a migraine this morning and it is said that you can have very productive creative bursts once they have subsided... so washed and leathered and revisited the gas tanks for 40 minutes... lots of post production in this one...
