optical illusion: is the old air intake channel indented or proud?

Well, we know it's proud, but it looked indented at first :unsure:

Natural light? Just seems odd that the car seems to be lit with very directional (is that the right term, I mean the opposite to ambient) light from above - odd in this country...

thanks paul. jase it is light pretty much directly from above as it's a rainy day the source is the low cloud. not an awful lot of light is coming in from the sides due to the fairly enclosed space

I did 3 weeks in Botswana at the end of May/early June. Cracking time and mother nature was very kind to me. Lions stalking buffalo in water through the early morning mist - stunning!

Not had chance to do any post work on these yet, they are straight from the RAW conversion but give the idea of the sort of thing going on.

All taken on either EOS5D or EOS 1DMkII. Lenses 17-40 f/4L, 24-70 f2.8/L, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 400 f/4 DO IS.

in a bit of a b/w phase arn't ya mate :D v nice.. .. n god know how you find these places! I've looked n looked and can never find anywhere derilict (sp?) enough :(

i live in Teeside :) ICI on my door step (yep my kids will have 3 arms and 2 heads) i need to get out and take some shots of the VX all moody
