Here's a list of the VX paint codes and names and their respective DuPont codes.
  • The DuPont stock codes were found using the >DuPont Online Colour Retrieval< for the Opel Speedster (there were more paint codes listed for a Speedster than for a VX220).
  • The VX paint names/codes are based on a list that has appeared on the board from time to time.
  • Other VX paint codes may exist for the same paint name but they still boil down to one DuPont code. I have shown only one VX paint code for most names, but listed all I could find for names that I was unsure about.
  • I have 'corrected' the VX paint names and codes to match those shown by DuPont. There were a few spelling inaccuracies e.g. 0 for O.
  • Some of the colours may be listed under the wrong heading, possibly the two pearlescent yellows?
  • Please copy and update this list in a reply if you need to make an update to it. I may be missing some colours.

So presumably this allows us to get paint mixed up at places that don't understand the Vauxhall paint codes?
