They've been discussed before and every right thinking person thought they were suckier than a sucky thing that had just been to Macro and bought a bumper bag of straws.

I still want to know what happens when you open the door in a strong wind.

Hmmm.. must just be me (and cragpuss) that think the VX/Speedster would be one of a few cars that would benefit from these doors...

If you've never parked up and realised you're too close to the car/wall/hedge next to you to open the door fully and climb out, then I guess it won't apply... But I reckon that we've all suffered that more than once.

Whether the solution is worth $1000 though is another thing (and the reason I haven't bothered!)

Quote : the only kit on the market that goes 90 degrees vertical (dont know how to do the quote thing!) I dont like those purely for that fact, i like it on the others that only go part way, those ones might as well twizzle all the way round to the floor. My one issue with the lambo doors is that they're pointless because you still have to open the door outwards before it goes up, making them toss

I'd like to see someone come up with a Koesinnneggngngeneneneenenngggnengne (top gear spelling) kit, they're cool, the door travels outwards horizontally, then slowly rotates upwards :D

Arguments about the appeal aside (I don't care for them), what are the chances of receiving good after-sales support from an American selling a product for use on a car never sold in the States?
