Always worth making it even harder to get in and out of a car that is already a challenge

Actually Iitisn't more difficult to get into and out of the car, although it may appear so on the photos. Especially if a car parks very close to you, you can even get out of the car more easily, as the doors mostly open vertically.
All in all, of course, I have to say, that the doors are just kind of a big toy. But as it is and should be with toys: You should have fun - and that's exactly what I have with these doors. :-)

As the cars get cheaper, it will no doubt be more and more the case that they get chavved.
These words were written back in 2006.
Speedyk, you were truly a seer of future things.

Hang on everyone - this guy's designed, machined and installed these doors himself and is not forcing them on you. They might not be to everyone's taste but personally I'd like to say well done Pete, for achieving what you set out to do.

I like Lambo doors not sure if I would like them on my VX but nice one Pete!
Personally if a car is parked too close to me to get out I just climb out and not bother with the whole door thing!
I tend to take a run a jump in to my VX now, makes it more interesting, I have only broken a few things, but never my own bones

Yes. The engineer in me gets all giddy when I see those in action.
...and why they're called kerb crunchers to those unaware.
