The mirrors are not road legal, mainly because you can barely see anything with, but very light : http://www.aprperfor...id=91&Itemid=74 The paint job has been done by a really good professional of course.

Thanks.
In order to compensate the extra weight added by the front splitter (3.5kg) I built this master piece three times lighter than the original plastic one to decrease the height of the gravity center :

Gilles, I also use Solidworks (2011). Have you done any rapid prototyping from your CAD models or used stereolithography to produce any items? If so, who have you used & what actual size objects can they produce? Do you have access to a 3D digitiser or large scale 3D scanner? ...You must have the lightest VX Turbo, although several of us NA boys have light car's now.

@MAXR: The prototypes are beeing built. I will first test them on track for validation and then it will be no problem to use the program and produce clones. The plenum/intercooler one is already a big one... What you see post 143 is the large scale 3D scanner. The only avantage I could have is the torque compared to your light N/A vxs. I am running 279BHP with stock engine so still some good step forseen for next season... @2-20: Those are the lightest alloy 17'' wheels for the speedster. @fred666: The car is very easy to drive, but I agree; Some say I am a supernature...

Approximate weights are 8,3 Kg (front) and 9 Kg (rear) for the ATS DTC

I thought you were running a stage 3.5 from VX-performance?

And yes, I really like your project 0,8! chinky chinky

That is correct. 309 is the advertised power, 279 is what I have in the real world at the wheels. Already not bad with stock internals used on track ;)

Yes, I did several, 3 different places, top power recorded was 279HP and 399Nm of torque.

Alright, and what's the power at the flywheel? As this is the only way to compare it to the power figures that are given.

No idea about the power at the flywheel. The power anounced is always the power at the wheels on the dyno. Having minus 9% between power anounced and real one is still in the normal range for me. That still makes a good and real 3.2kg/bhp ratio.
