I've just finished a tank of fuel in my shed, got 534 miles out of it, pretty pleased with that, but had to drive like a Granny to achieve it! It was 60 litres though, I think i may have to get a Diesel to better that.

Ok, I'm going to admit it, I quite enjoy looking for bargain sheds on t'internet :( Do I have a problem? I was almost half wishing that I'd done enough damage to the Rover to go and buy something else. There was a lovely Jetta GTi on Autotrader for £600 last week. And today I spent half my lunch deciding that for £500 I might have upgraded to a 600, or even splashed out £1800 on a ridiculously good value 75 :o I need help

I have the same problem, maybe we need to set up group meetings to talk about it...

on another note, corsa shed, which should have gone by now, has been develloping a very strange vibration in the steering (hence i still have it). the oddest thing was that at 5mph, the steering would progressively turn right with a fair amout of lock. It also felt a bit funny at speed and had a bumpy feel too.

I haven't looked at the corsa for months. It just works, day in day out. so lkast night i thought i'd give it a check to see that it was not something obvious causing the above.

Well it was pretty obvious. The front left tyre has an enormour buldge on the tread surface. and they are bloody michelins!

new tyres todays.

26 yr old Scotsman, currently in unsuitable soft top commuting arrangement, seeks shed age 8+ for regular travel together. Must have GMPG, a love of hard rock music and enjoy working in cold conditions. Only reliable sheds with a cheap taste in consumables need apply .

I've only just bought my shed and had the V5 delivered today. The tax runs out at the end of this month, so without the renewal letter how do I buy tax?

You can pick up a form from your post office (or wherever you get your tax from) for that. Iirc, you fill in that form and take the V5 along with you thumbsup

Praise the shed. It battled through the snow without a problem, dodging morons without a clue how to drive in the snow :beat:

I am thinking Ka, Corsa or 106... something small for easy abandonment! :D

I'd love another Cavalier but they're too big.

Budget? £700 absolute max B)

Hi mate,

Now you'vegot the V5 you don't even need the old-style tax form (it used to be a v10), but if you take the logbook, your insurace certifiate and the MOT to the Post Office, that's all you need. Oh, and the payment of course!! thumbsup
