Didn't get a chance to look at it this weekend unfortunately. No hurry for me at the moment.

Now to dispose of the Tractor and have savings again!! For those of you that are interested it's now a 2ltr 8v with flowed and ported head, full ansa race manifold and stainless exhaust, koni suspension, vr6 subframes and running gear including 288mm front brakes and widen track, corrado seat and a heater that doesn't squeak!!! TT, those Rover 75 turbo diesels are actually quite impressive. They use the old BMW 325tds engine and its a really good comfy cruiser. Pulls too. A friend of the family has one of these 75td and has had his chipped and now uses it pull his caravan. :) And its a big caravan but seems to cope no problem. Good fuel consumption too.

Fluffy - yeah I realised it was the BMW diesel engine, and that it was rather good. 15k service intervals as well thumbsup As far as I'm aware though, it's not the older 2.5 6 cylinder one that you're talking about - it's the much more modern common-rail 4 cylinder 2 litre as used in the 320d. Ant, I don't want to smell like a chip shop :P

Anyway, the vitals, its a 1999 less then 50,000 miles, 12 months MOT, 1.6 si, Metallic silver, electric "stuff", power "other stuff"

Guess the price :tt:

Budget? Preferences? (ie I'm clearly a Rover chaser :P )

I am thinking Ka, Corsa or 106... something small for easy abandonment! :D

I'd love another Cavalier but they're too big.

Budget? £700 absolute max B)

Long live chavaliers! thumbsup

3,000 miles in 6 weeks and the only problem is a leak from the washer bottle  best £140 i ever spent!

great for anything [except speed, cornering etc :P ]
