I've had my shed since last July, but only just updating, sorry for the delay! No pics i'm afriad - light blue 106D with 143K on the clock - cost me £400, although i've been driving it around with the clutch slipping badly for about the last 4 months, its getting really bad now, almost undriveable, think i end up holding some people up as i struggle to get up to about 40mph on the way home from work (and it's a 60mph road!) but just kpet putting it off and off - I suppose that's the problem when you're trying to run 4 cars! Think i'll get it done though as it's a pretty solid car overall!

The Power Steering has stopped working on my Astra Diesel, really heavy steering now! It is hard work in this hot weather. Still, passed 135k in it today though. Think I'll be getting rid soon.

They have an electric power steering pump. sits on top of the rack.

Pig to get out, but plenty of companies around that refurb them.

Thanks mate, that's what I have been told. I think I might just Ebay her as she is though, I am after something else. In true shedding style, I've done a couple of thousand miles with the problem though and haven't lifted the bonnet!

anyone know which insurance companies will mirror my NCB from my VX? It's at 6 years now and insuring a shed with 0 ncb is really expensive also I can't do a multicar policy as the VX is modified and would cost much much more with anyone other than CCI

CCI told me (because I was giving up a multicar policy) if I couldn't get another policy for my shed at a reasonable price, they would let me transfer the NCB to the shed and mirror it for the vxr. the difference in premium was £30. Ring them and ask.

Multicar with admiral can be cheap with mods.

My na has a zaust, grill, stripes, chip, exige suspension, induction kit and a leather retrim - all declared - and it's still MILES cheaper to do multicar than separate policies.

The thing you NEED to get the discount is another driver - without the other drive then multicar won't work for you.

I sold the Astra diesel on. It had done 139k in the end, I did 63k in three years, serviced twice in that time and minimal spend. Would definitely reccomend a 2.0 DTi Vauxhall engine.
