went to halfords to by stone chip kit and couldn't find code 20U didnt bother askin for assistance so does anyone know the actual name of the silver, do halfords stock it?

Do a search, I saw a post which said it was definitely not Star Silver.

It was just called Silver, Star Silver is used on all the 'normal' 
Vauxhalls, I've seen a front clam painted in Star Silver on a Silver VX 
Not a million miles away but far from right.

20U is just called Silver and is a VX220 only colour.
Vauxhall do a touch up kit for it. It'll be a better colour match than a Halfarts kit.
The Vauxhall paint code is L161 and the part number for the kit is 93160480.

I got the halfords set for my first silver VX - it is the wrong colour
Buy the one from Vauxhall.. colour code is on door pillar
