Liquid Yellow! B) (same as on some renaultsport clio v6)

since my crash last autumn I have been rebuilding and modified the car, now it's finally back after a respray, and I couldn't resist changing the colour... Was a bit tempted to change to krypton green but finally decided on renaultsport liquid yellow instead.

Still have a a lot to do to finish the car but here is a couple of pictures anyway... The colour is very hard to capture in a photo, but these are quite close. It looks even better in real life...

Yes I did... :)

The car was completely stripped down and all the parts (except the sills which are glued to the chassi) were painted individually. I even stripped the doors completely.

I know, I might have been a bit of a overkill, but I had the car in parts anyway so why not just go thru with that last extra effort?

Ah... the wheels, should have anticipated that question...

Yes they are 15" (anti chav :P )... going for light weight... rear tires are 225/50-R15 and fronts are 195/55-R15.

the rims are OZ's new Ultraleggera in the limited Renault F1 edition. Had to change the hubs to elise four bolt, also got the elispart alu belled disks...

The weight of a front wheel is ca 14 kg and a rear is ca 14.5 kg (the rims have the same width both front an rear)

Hi Meldert, that looks fantastic. Same striking impact as the Manderin B) There must be nothing better than getting your car back from a total respray. The car is perfect once again :) Anyway, I am trying to get hold of the VX font. The old links arent working anymore post upgrade. If you email it to me at charles_lovell@hotmail.com I can host it again for people. :grouphug:

Oh and here comes a bonus pic from the garage this weekend... Still missing the interior, had to be abel to adjust the windows in the doors properly, now they are better adjusted then they where from the factory... :P :)

I'm retrimming the seats in black alcantara and carbonfiber effect synthetic leather... thats why the seat is naked in the picture...

Oh and the fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror is a joke from a garagebuddy...

Looks great. Surprised you didn't go for a black windscreen surround.

Oh, I was planning to... Using matte black self adhesive vinyl, it works better than painting the soft plastic. Now I'm surprisingly not so sure anymore... I kind of like the silver accents in the head and rear lights, fuel cap and window surround. It somehow works nice with the rest and adds a bit of depth and dimension to the colours. Using only black and yellow might be a bit to "simple"...

Well I work with grapic design so I might be a bit "damaged" from work...

So I'm a bit indecisive at the moment, but I'm still leaning towards a black window surround...
