PS on the bright side the brakes now work a treat :D

Was the difference that noticeable? I've always disliked the brakes on the vx so look foreward to feeling an improvement. The vacuum hose on my car is well and truly crushed. I can't see how any fluid is getting though!

TBH my hose looked fine. However, there is a big difference on my car. The pedal doesnt travel as much and the car really wants to stop. Cant wait for my mintex 1144's to go on and my new ap racing fluid (if it ever turns up) to go/in on the car. Hoping for the same improvement again. Wil :groupjump:

Has anyone with an Ly been inspected and been told they do need their black wheels changing?
Mine definately don't have the HT mark. But ...
I had the recall notice, went into the local Bristol dealer, but was told they are only inspecting silver wheels.

There is another thread on the LY wheels if you can be bothered to look for it. Some dealers were going to change the black wheels but most had been told by Vauxhall that the LY wheels were not affected despite looking exactly the same as the silevr wheels in terms of markings, serial numbers and PT rather HT on the casting. As far as I know even those dealers who were going to change the wheels renaged, presumably because when they put the order in Vaxhall said no.
