Damn... didn't know Macc were VX approved. I've been driving up to Prestwich from Stockport! Grimshaws have just completed my 3rd service no probs. Didn't do the servo pipe recall because "the new pipe was split" and so they are having to re-order it. Sounds to me like they either never had the part or they were missing other required parts. Anyway, they are replacing the coolant expansion tank, alternator belt and possibly all four alloys due corrosion all under warranty. Anyone had much experience with Maccelsfield dealer? Cheers Jay

Just found out that my best mates step-brother (who I know anyway) is able to do all kind of care repairs (cosmetic) and also does very good fibre glass repairs so hopefully the little mishap might not cost the earth after all! Who's doing your engine mount dampers? I have 2 sittin here and not sure who's going to fit them for me!! :beat:

Just had a phone call from Grimshaws, Eccles "Your servo hose has arrived. We can look at the wheels at the same time if you like. When would you like to book it in?" Which I guess translates as "someone else has cancelled their recall work and we've been left with left over stock" Still, I shouldn't complain, cos at least this time they've rung me back like they said they would. Admittedly 6 weeks later than they said but still, better than not at all  Has anyone actually let Noel loose on their car yet?
