I joined last night.... I have managed to find 1 delivery task (Ferrari) but can't seem to find anymore.... What are they shown as on the map....?

Me too, just the Enzo delivery mission.

There is a good speed mission on the east of the Island. Its worth $10000 and you have to reach 140mph in the allotted time on a "twisty road"

Actually the best way of doing it is by turning round right away as soon as you have crossed the starting line and then going back the other way which is a really straight road. $10000 in about 30 seconds (once you reach 140mph you can press "A" to end the task!!

Might have already been found but a great way of getting some funds together in the begining!

Quick hint,

You have to drive past the delivary missions to unlock them! (make them visable on the map) use your gps to find them listed under missions (I think thats what they are called)

Oh and when you do the delivary missions dont finish them if you hit something / loose money. you get a fat 40-60k bonus for a perfect delivary and you can only do them once, ie you deliver a car with a little damage thats its done no second chance same if its perfect so try to do em perfect if you can (gets frustrating)

Bought me a Konnigseg with $200,000 tuning pack! Love it! Also finished the tour of the island last night! 130 odd miles! Phew!! Not had any update info though, i really want that trade feature!

Is it me or has TDU land gone very quiet lately??

I've been pretty busy and tired lately, and I guess Call of Duty 3 is drawing away punters. Gears of War is out this week and I would expect that a hell of a lot of people will be on that at the weekend! Oh and WWE Smackdown v Raw (don't laugh!) is actually pretty damn good fun. I haven't even met some of TDU newbies here yet.. I'll try and get on it soon, although my brother gave me a COD3 promo that he was given and I'm buying Gears of War this week. TDU is the sort of game that I'll always come back to though, it's too much fun not to really. Hopefully catch up with some of you guys soon..

Yeh ive been a bit busy with Call of Duty 3 but as I have now completed it (did it in 6 hours on easy just Veteran level to do now but I do that a little at a time)

ok, I have a stage 3 tuned Enzo and a S3 tuned Saleen but is there anything faster? What is the fastest car in the game?

Depends on what you're doing with it.

My thoughts for Group A...

Acceleration = Saleen
All round = Enzo
Top speed = Koenigsegg (or possibly McLaren F1)

Other cars from different groups...

All round = Farboud

Top speed = XJ220

Handling + acceleration = Maserati GranSport
Acceleration + top speed = DB9

Top speed = Shelby Daytona or Lamborghini Muira

All round = Audi TT

All round = Skyline

Bikes = Ninja or Tamburini

Choose the vehicle for the course rather than what has the highest top speed. While you're in one of your houses, you can check to see what the leaders used for a particular challenge. (Info, Rankings...)

Is there some patch available today to download for this game? it was supposed to be out today and the TDU forum is too busy to get onto, does anyone know if its available? i hope the trade is working

My mate has just bought TDU playing it on a LCD tv which is a cheap brand, he says he can only play it in Black & white. I have told him to change it to 60hz but that wont play at all, the game just wont load. Is there any way he can play it on his TV in colour (ie with a different lead) or is it a new tv jobbie? i dont think its a HD tv and it looks as if it can only take 50hz. Please help, he's desperate to play! Cheers

I guess he can if his telly has a scart input. Doesn't the XBox come with a cable that can connect to a TV via scart?

what a BITCH it is.... i cant even make it to the end let alone do it within the time limit, closest i got was in a caterham i was 1 mile away green light at a junction and something pulls out on me and i get 20 penalty points will have another go tonight

Wait until you see how much time gets added for all the lost damage points

My best time so far is just under 7:44 including time penalties. Best time for completing the course without time penalties is around 7:06.

BTW, I suggest that you don't follow the sat nav.

- When you first turn right onto a dual carriageway, take the "correct" side of the road (first right not second, which is the side the satnav suggests). Continue on but don't turn left where the satnav says, take the third (?) left (it leads to a 6-way crossroads which you go straight across).

or

- As above at right-hand turn onto the dual carriageway, but then take the first right immediately under the motorway and circle round on to the motorway (ignore the "you're going in the wrong direction" ). You end up taking the third or fourth exit which the satnav correctly suggests.

I found the second route last night and it seems slightly quicker.
