Are you ever off the game?

No Posted Image

I did the millionaire time trial lastnight (*coughs*, this morning 2am+) What a hell of a race!

Don't forget you've got to do the Island Challenge too. It's pretty much the same thing just starting/finishing in a different place (and only a $200,000 prize)

Bought a new house but to keep the cost down, yes im a tight git, I did an exchange for my first house.

1 house  You might want to rethink your plans soon...plenty of achievement points are for buying lots of different cars (and even an award for owning 15 houses).

I bought mine from the PCWorld web site by selecting what I wanted and choosing "pick up from store". You get discounts for "buying" online (without having to actually buy it online) but get to pick it up (almost) straight away. I got about £15 of discounts when I bought my XBox 360 + Live sub + TDU :D

Have you contacted the seller about your copy dan? So, I delivered a Spyker and Maserati MC12 last night, both perfect. It was quite relaxing really.. sit in traffic, wait for a gap, drop a gear and pull out.. byeeeeeee! After that, I earned a little pocket money by doing '180mph in heavy traffic', thanks TangoAlpha! thumbsup I went and bought a Ferrari 288GTO (Stage 3) because it looks stunning, and a Chrysler 300C SRT8 (Stage 3) because it makes me look like a gangster..

With all that spending money, have you joined my club yet?

Join the club and we can do some interclub "racing" (I'll let you win, and vice-versa) which will earn achievement points thumbsup

Don't you have to send club invites out? As far as I know only the person setting up pays the fee, I joined a club a couple of weeks ago and paid nothing. I wonder if you can be in two or more clubs? Will check tonight! rallly

Glad you like it :D

I spent a lot of time interviewing the staff, investigating the local attractions and checking the surrounding road links before deciding on Diamond Head as our new head office  :D

Also, if anyone wants to know how to reach the "hidden" island, let me know and I can point you in the right direction. I won't post instructions here just in case anyone wanted to find it themselves.

I guess we need to start doing some intra-club racing now there are 3(?) members.

I got the club invite last night (thanks!) and tried to join but it won't let me, I'm already a member of another club with a bunch of old mates.. Still, we could do some inter-club races for fun! When I race intra-club at my existing club we all race standard cars i.e. everyone in a stage 3 Skyline or everyone in a stock XK8. It makes it much more fun IMO because nobody romps off on the straights and the racing is generally very close.. I did a lot of instant challenges yesterday with 2 friends (1 challenge, then revenge revenge revenge!) and we took in some amazing mountain roads at speed, with traffic. It's great fun weaving through the traffic at full tilt and hearing one of your mates have a head on collision at speed, or seeing an innocent driver taking a turning on their way to the shops right in front of your mate.. byeeeee

If over the weekend we notice that we are all online at the same time, how do we get together. When I go <-<-<- on the D-Pad to get Free-Ride players non are listed. Last night I think you guys were in single player races or somethng because I could not zone near you and see you. We should hook up with similar cars / bikes and go for a lap of the Island. Regards, Noble

Walkes if you have any specific questions I'm sure one of us knows the answer, either that or reading back through these pages should answer most questions. thumbsup You won't be able to join anyone with (N/A) beside their name on the GPS screen BTW, it means they are either in a race, a building, or in their GPS. The GPS doesn't really have a link to the free-ride players you see when you hit left a couple of times on the d-pad, you just use the GPS to mark/find locations, or to find players and warp to them. Sometimes when you warp to your friend they won't be there, try going in and out of the GPS until they are there with you (they are in the same place that you warped to, but not always on your server, so rejoining them a couple of times usually finds them). There are a few ways to meet up with people. Joining them in free-ride by using the GPS locate and warp feature works unless they are busy as above. Otherwise, you can host a multiplayer race by choosing one on the GPS map (I think multiplayer games show up as an orange colour on the map), then when you are sitting there waiting for people to join you can go into the guide and invite people from your friends list. The other way of meeting up is by going to the club and then sending messages to people to join you and setting up a race from there. HTH
