Ahh i see! Any ideas when its coming back on? and how many of you actually drive the cars from inside? I usually cant drive on the internal view for toffee, but now i much prefer it to the exterior car view, IMO you get much more out of the game when the view is inside the car, esp when you have to overtake cars with oncoming traffic, you actually forget it is a game at times  :P My flatmate was really not up for the internal view but after half an hour of a delivery mission in internal view he has definatley come over to the dark side :D

I always play games from the inside view (or if it doesn't have an inside view, then a bonnet or "bumper" view). I just find it easier to tell what the car is doing that way, and correct slides, oversteer etc. The fact that it makes TDU 100 times better using that view is just a bonus :D -andy-

I always use bumper view too. One of the best driving games ever was rollcage which was on the pc years ago. Basically you had these high powered jet cars and if you rolled it over there was much clearance with these big tyres on you could carry on upside down (although the screen reverted to the right way up when this did happen. Also you got missiles, torpedos, turbo boosts etc for taking out the opponents. Now I've reminded myself I'm going to go home, find it and install on my xp machine. Wish me luck. :D But its likely I'll never play an xbox 360 or TDU as I'm tight fisted that way!

Guys I have just noticed that I need 3 inter club wins. Are the new guys joining VX220.org club? Tango and Tif if you could sort me out with 3 inter wins I would be very greatful. I got my eagle eye driver last night too, free riding with a load of yankees.

My mansion garage is as this below - all my cars are soon to be Black.

#01 - Ford GT (great acceleration and handling, sounds great on over run)
#02 - Ferrari Enzo (Best handling car in the game)
#03 - Mclaren F1 (bought it because Ive always been in love with it, however disappointing in game)
#04 - Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R (sounds great and just all out fun to ride)
#05 - Pagani Zonda (like the McLaren abit disappointing but its sound is to die for)
#06 - Saleen S7 (use this bad boy online and your a winner - if you can keep it on the road)
#07 - Farbound GTS (which I think looks on and off like the VX)
#08 - Caterham CSR (twitchy as ever great for group racing and a laugh)
#09 - Lambo Spyder (amazing handling group C car a 'must' buy)
#10 - Koenigsegg CC8S (the stig did not like but I do, car is really fast when 'drafting')

Post yours with a little note after each one thumbsup

I sold everything to afford the $350,000 to join the club, so I only have an Esprit at the mo. Although I didn't seem to get charged the money, so I might be able to spend it again now.

Its free to join but $350k to be the leader of the club. Tango stumped that up so we dont have to ... aww he is a nice chap. I spent all my money on a McLaren F1 + stage 3, $1,300,000  and tbh a bit disappointed. Me thinks I should have, like the game title suggests, taken it for a Test Drive - ho ho ho. What car or bike did you use? I think 50 odd mins on the Kwaki 10R is about right. Look at it this way at least now you set time so that you will know if you are better or worse when you go through the check points. Noble

Thanks mate, just got the roof colour coded. Just needs the surround done and the turbo spoiler put on. I would take the Kwaki 10R (tuned) around the island thumbsup Just remember to push the stick forward when on the straights to get the most from the bike, there is also plenty of cars for you to draft off. On that race I tend not to think if im on time I just enjoy the ride and tbh I drive / ride better that way. Give it a try. Also im back online now so if you want to go for a spin some time that would be great. Whats your tag? I accepted a few friend requests so hopefully your on there.

Im on my bros XBox but its by bday on 5th so ill let you know my new tag when i get it! also, is there a way to get the wipers working in the car? on a google search there are afew copmments saying that it can be done, but its nowhere in the manual, and do you unlock more tuning shops etc in the game? i heard that you can buy aftermarket parts like wheels etc but so far all i can do is performance tune the engines, and on most of my cars i cant tune or modify them at all :( eg Lotus elise :(

From experience I would say I have never seen the wipers on any of the cars move and dont know of any buttons to press to get them to move. You can change wheels (if available) when buying before choosing your paint scheme. I think there are 4 tuning shops to discover which will tune your car from stages 1 to 3. Stage just progressively add to all the stats of the car. Tuned to stage 3 is recommended as i think anything under this would be a waste of your money. You can take the lotus elise to the lotus tuner 'British Tuners' (just down from TVR garage) and get a stage 3 put on it I think. I did the millionaire one again last night to check the time and make some cash. My time was 52mins in the Ninja 10-R but checking the leader board it seems the best time is 44mins on a bike. I think there must be short cuts to take to cut down the mileage between checkpoints. Regards, Noble
