Mine had one bolt too...dont worry about it though.
Just loosen the bolt slightly & rotate the disc, tighten and close door gently with window up and check gap.
Seriously takes 2 mins to adjust.

Hi chaps, Just a had a go at this, mine too has just got the one bolt. What exactly is on the other side of the disc? what size bolt? I tried undoing it but failed, it would be good to know the right sizes though. Thanks.

Hiya, on the other side is a small, quite flat bolt head, the thread you can see poking out of the disk is the end of it. 8 or 10mm, can't actually remember :) You just need to get a spanner behind it and fumble around for a bit Have you tried re-greasing the runners? Doing that solved most of my problems, turns out it wasn't lining up properly because the top of the front-most runner was all weird and sticky so it was bending the mechanism slightly when you wound it up and ending up slightly lop-sided. Might be worth doing that first, before you fiddle with all the alignment. Stick your arm in and have a feel, they're pretty much impossible to actually see unfortuantely It's a very satisfying moment when the thing finally lines up in the rubber groove on the roof :)

Thanks Stik. I definitely need to adjust it, the previous owner told me he had adjusted it down (not sure why) I'll have another fumble next week sometime.

Passenger's side window is in need of serious attention. The glass is stuck in the fully up position. I dread to imagine what I may find when I start taking it apart. Vauxhall dealership has had this door off a couple of times to respray it under warranty so I dread to think what they have or have not left out of the re-assembly. I may take some pics as I get to the inside stuff which hasn't been covered before.

Anyone got some tips for removing the 'Play' from the whole thing. I've applied the trunking fix, but still get a rattle from the front runner wobbling.

I notice the screw into the front runner near the mirror goes into the groove. Is that normal ? I was thinking put a washer under it, but then it probably interferes with the glass.

Two posts above(almost 2 years ago) I mentioned my passenger window was stuck in the fully up position. We fixed it today.

I removed all the panels and then called in a friend for expert assistance. He had brought his special camera with an LED light on a bendy stick to help us look inside the door to try and trace what was wrong. It revealed nothing initially.

So we decided to remove the whole winder mechanism.

We also removed the little black trim panel at the front of the door which is held on with two plastic fasteners.

That was when we found the problem. There is a screw facing forwards near the top front of the door which had unwound itself enough to jam the glass. It required a screwdriver on a bendy drive to re-tighten it.

Reassembled, adjusted, checked the fit and it now works perfectly.

I'm trying to adjust my passenger side window following this guide and not having the best luck with it, I wonder if someone could help?

- The window sits right against the top seal (the one running along the softtop) at the back edge but at the front sits a bit low. I tried adjusting it but that bracket you tilt behind the two bolts (no.2 on the pic) is already at full tilt.

- Towards the rear, along the side of the window it isn't sitting against the rubber seal but at the top it sits against the other rubber seal (the one that's part of the softtop). I tried adjusting it inwards a bit with that screw at the bottom of the door (no.1 in the pic) but it didn't seem to do anything.

any help please.

you need to adjust the overall height of the window, can't remember which adjust it was. then you can adjust the tilt.

Use the tilt one to get it level. If the rear won't go up anymore on the tilt then just tilt the front down till its level. Then use the disc adjustment thing to allow the whole window to go higher now its level.
